Call for Experts: Czech Expertise on Demand

Are you an experienced professional ready to share your expertise internationally and contribute to sustainable development?

Czech Expertise on Demand (EoD), implemented by the Czech-UNDP Partnership for SDGs, with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, connects highly qualified experts with countries seeking specialized knowledge to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through EoD, experts contribute practical, hands-on solutions that strengthen institutions, enhance policy implementation, and support sustainable development in partner countries.

We are currently expanding our pool of experts. Qualified professionals are invited to express their interest in joining the UNDP Global Policy Network (GPN) ExpRes Roster.

What is Czech Expertise on Demand?

Expertise on Demand (EoD) facilitates the transfer of practical experience and specialized know-how to partner countries, supporting sustainable development.

EoD promotes hands-on engagement to deliver tangible results and long-term solutions that positively impact local communities and organizations. It also provides opportunities to strengthen the capacities of experts and enhance their competitiveness in international development contexts.

Knowledge and skills are shared through direct engagement in partner countries, including:

  • Technological support and implementation
  • Expert consulting
  • Preparation of feasibility studies
  • Specialized on-site training
  • Study visits and professional internships

What is the UNDP GPN ExpRes Roster?

The GPN ExpRes Roster is UNDP’s global recruitment and deployment mechanism that maintains a pool of pre-vetted consultants available for rapid support to UNDP offices worldwide.

The roster:

  • Maintains thoroughly vetted experts reviewed by UNDP’s Global Policy Network technical teams
  • Covers all thematic areas of UNDP’s work
  • Is structured into 30+ knowledge profiles and more than 200 sub-profiles

    Following a successful review process, selected candidates may be considered for short-term assignments with UNDP in their respective technical areas.

What Do Experts Do?

Assignments are tailored to country needs and may include:

  • Technical advisory services and strategic policy support
  • Feasibility studies and institutional assessments
  • Development of frameworks, strategies, and action plans
  • On-site and virtual capacity development trainings
  • Support to digital, governance, climate, health, and finance reforms
  • Facilitation of study visits and professional exchanges

Experts are typically deployed for up to 90 days, either on-site or through hybrid engagement models
