The project, led by Palacký University Olomouc in cooperation with Caritas Zambia, introduces a mobile, solar-powered dermatology clinic to provide specialised skin-cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for persons with albinism (PWA) in underserved urban and rural areas. It combines hands-on training and mentoring of local doctors and health workers with community outreach to raise awareness, distribute protective materials, and promote early detection. Solar-powered equipment ensures reliable operation in off-grid locations, while the initiative builds local capacity, strengthens institutional partnerships, and creates a sustainable model for expanding dermatological care and health education for PWA nationwide.
