The project, implemented by SG Geotechnika a.s. in partnership with Arba Minch University, develops a web-based “Enviro Data Lake” platform to integrate and manage environmental monitoring data in Ethiopia. It centralizes data from rainfall, hydrological, and climate monitoring stations into a single system, enabling reliable storage, quality control, and easy access for analysis and decision-making.
By combining geospatial databases, interactive mapping, and an AI-powered query tool, the platform allows users to efficiently access and interpret environmental data for applications in water management, agriculture, and risk mitigation. Through system deployment and training, the project strengthens local capacity and provides a scalable, open-source solution that improves data-driven planning and supports long-term climate resilience.
