Adaptive traffic control with advanced detection and V2X emergency vehicles priority in Bosnia and Herzegovina

This Challenge Fund project introduced modern adaptive traffic control system (based on the European standard V2X) to Banja Luka. This pilot solution is new in the city.

In partnership with Cross Zlín, Banja Luka modernized one of the main intersections with latest traffic control system that adapts to the needs of emergency vehicles passing between city’s hospital and ambulance depo.

It includes advanced functions that continuously adapts to actual traffic level detected by cameras with advanced data analytics combined with emergency vehicle priority. This solution has a large scale-up potential across BiH.

Cross Zlín, a.s. is a Czech innovator that provides a wide range of smart traffic solutions.
