Management Plan for Truso Protected Landscape, Georgia

This project aims to support the Kazbegi Municipality and the Administration of the Truso Protected Landscape (TRPL) in preparing a Management Plan (MP)and an Operational Plan (OP). This initiative will apply a participatory approach, adhering to national legislation, guidelines, and international best practices. The project will engage both Czech and Georgian experts, working collaboratively to ensure high-quality and sustainable outcomes. Coordinated with the UNDP Country Office and the Czech Embassy, the project is set to deliver its first outputs by spring 2025, with completion expected by Q3 2025.

The focus will be on the Truso Protected Landscape, leveraging the expertise of both Czech and Georgian consultants to achieve the project’s objectives. This collaborative effort aims to produce comprehensive and effective management and operational plans that will guide the sustainable development and conservation of the Truso Protected Landscape over the coming years.
