Scaling up Multi-Hazard Early Warning System and the Use of Climate Information in Georgia
The objective of the 7-year project, “Scaling-up Multi-Hazard Early Warning System and the Use of Climate Information in Georgia“ implemented under National Implementation Modality (NIM) and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture is to reduce the exposure of Georgia’s communities, livelihoods and infrastructure to climate-induced natural hazards through a well-functioning nation-wide multi-hazard early warning system.
The expected 5-month work of the IC aims to deliver an update to the Project Environmental and Social Management Framework and 13 Environmental and Social Management Plans for the short-listed sites for priority risk reduction interventions. The consultant should educate the local community of the existence and build their capacity to implement the environmental and social monitoring plan.
