Transformation Towards Energy-Efficient and Smart Buildings

Although Bosnia and Herzegovina has vast energy resources, neither the state nor other parties have made any serious efforts to make the energy system more sustainable. All required regulations and administrative provisions essential for the implementation of the energy efficiency policy are either not available yet or have been adopted but not observed.

The project wants to develop a blueprint for increasing energy efficiency of public buildings in Bosnia and Herzegovina and subsequent deployment of smart and green technologies in these structures. Its objective is to provide a step-by-step path towards the transformation of old and energy inefficient buildings into efficient and smart ones with innovative technologies and to provide the country with a sustainable incentivizing strategy for energy efficiency which saves resources and money.

The project is managed by EPDOR, a technical consulting company focused on the energy industry.
