Diakonie ČCE won the Czech SDG Award 2021

Congratulations to Diakonie ČCE for winning the Czech SDG Award with the Challenge Fund project: Microbusiness and Innovation for Women Menstrual Health and Empowerment in Cambodia! In Cambodia’s Kampong Chhnang Province, period shaming still exists and local women face obstacles in their daily lives both due to the lack of affordable menstrual products as well as due to the lack of awareness at the institutional and private level. This situation is called Period Poverty and Diakonie ČCE seeks to change it.
